Shoulders & arms

The arms are myofascially linked to the upper body and often compensate for problems originating elsewhere.  When working efficiently they allow us to reach, grab and contact the world effortlessly.

Common problems can be:

  • Rounded shoulders – sore/strained trapezius
  • Pain in one shoulder
  • Rotator cuff injury or pain
  • Sore neck
  • Pain down one arm
  • Tennis or golfers elbow
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome

Arm Line

Anatomy Trains Arm Line

Shoulder tension can arise from stress, poor posture and over-compensation for an unbalanced pelvis.

Arms have numerous muscles carefully arranged to give us our unique dexterity. Through use they can become tired, heavy and unbalanced making movement more challenging or painful.

Hands can become problematic when the tendon sheaths that run through the wrist become restricted limiting fi nger movement and, for some, resulting in carpal tunnel symptoms.

KMI can significantly improve or completely restore shoulder, arm and hand function.
