Most people come for treatment because they have a problem ache or injury they need help with.  Session plans can be approached in several ways depending on what suits your needs best.  Three sessios me be sufficient but for best results a minimum of twelve sessions are recommended.  Although we may think of our bodies as parts, they are one complete unit. To affect one area, sometimes we need to work further afield to create room for your body to change.

Clients often feel a change instantly, others find that the treatment builds over four days and report their main change one week after the session.

The Superficial Sessions

Sessions 1-4 

Immediately starts to relieve areas of strain.

Session 1
The front of your body from foot to head. Here we start to generate lift, allowing you to stand up with more ease.

Session 2 
The back of the body from foot to head. This session focuses on opening the back line which can generally be tight from holding up the front.  This session really brings your weight back onto your heals allowing the front to lift.

Session 3 
The sides of the body from foot to head. Here we start to look at your horizontal balance, evening the distribution of weight through either leg and balancing your torso on top of your pelvis.

Session 4 
What we call the Spiral Line in Anatomy Trains - this unfolds any patterns that spiral from the left to right side of the body which are very common.  This starts to remove any rotational patterns, such as a twisted pelvis that may carry.

The Core Sessions

Sessions 5-8

Unveiling any deeper patterns occurring within your core. Here we affect change at a much deeper level physically and emotionally.

Session 5
Concentrates on the deeper tissues of the feet and legs. After this session most patients begin to feel more balanced with a spring in their feet, have freer softer legs whilst being more grounded with ease in the lower back.

Session 6 
The goal here is to improve your capacity to breathe.  Breath is key to overall body health.  Restrictions in our surrounding musculature of the rib cage, diaphragm and lumbar region can sometimes restrict us breathing freely.  Afterwards patients feel greater lift and are more aware of their breath reaching deeper into the body and pelvis.

Session 7 
Now that the deeper core structures have been freed allowing you to breathe more easily, we need to ensure that the back of your body is aligned to support you correctly.

Session 8 
Aligning your head with the top of your ribcage and balancing your shoulders.  It may seem like your head is already balanced on top of your ribcage, but commonly through work environments, poor seating habits and lack of confidence, we tend to carry our heads forward and down. After this session your head will feel so much lighter, your eyes brighter and your neck less strained. 

The Integration Sessions

Sessions 9-12 

Focussing on integrating all the changes that have occured in your body. We look at you in movement to ensure that you have the freedom and movement range to do so efficiently. 

Session 9
Balances your lower body to its new core, ensuring your pelvis can move three dimensionally and your legs are balanced whilst walking.

Session 10 
Integrates breathing and your torso ensuring it balanced with your pelvis both sitting and standing.

Session 11
Focussing on re-balancing your arms and shouders to ensure they are free from tightness and hang relaxed.

Session 12 
The last session culminates in bringing the segments of your body and the Anatomy Trains Myofascial lines together into a unity of intent.
